Description
GYOTAKU is the traditional Japanese method of fish printing. This intricate immortalization process was originally used by fishermen in the 1800’s to record their catch by using ink, rice paper, and delicate hand pressing to create a fish image. Today, Gyotaku has become an art form of its own utilizing a wide variety of fish and ocean creatures as a method of printmaking.

Much like many creatures of the abyss, watch as this limited-edition Deep Sea Hybrid Short changes patterns before your very eyes. Activated by water, our H2O Activate Fabric Technology magically morphs to reveal a unique array of original Gyotaku prints as it gets wet. Featuring 4-way super-stretch fabric, front pockets, rear pockets, and a lined utility pocket, these shorts are great for both on and off the water occasions.
